The Professional ABC’s has a very simple mission statement: MANUFACTURE LUCK.
Our definition of luck occurs when preparation meets opportunity. The Professional ABC’s will help students construct the foundation of their future professional success. Our end goal is to create a competitive advantage for our participants in their professional careers.
“The Advice Beyond the Classroom was a great experience that gave me the opportunity to find passion in a potential career path, experience business in the real professional world, and expand my network. I enjoyed our class excursions to UBS and Groupon as they took learning out of the standard classroom setting. I would highly recommend this program to any student interested in any career because it helps you get a head start over others that do not have the same opportunity or chose not to join.”
-Sean C, University of Illinois
“The ABC course really taught me to get out of my comfort zone and put myself out there to others. The advice was beneficial when meeting new friends, professors, and potential employers. I was able to put myself out there to others and take a chance. In doing that, I have made some of the best friends I have ever had, excelled in my classes like never before, and potentially have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to intern at a growing cancer research company.”
-Jimmy C, University of Alabama
“The ABC program taught me how to handle myself in the real world in order to set me up for the best success. It taught me how to sell myself in order to build bridges that assist in my pursuit of a career. Most importantly it taught me how to be professional and prepared me for interviews and workplace experiences.“
– Eric C, Valparaiso University
